Following the death of his mother, Riku Lindberg begins to sink in an endless spiral of self-loathing and depression. That is until Shani Harel moves to the tiny island town he lives in. Riku becomes involved in Shani's life as he helps her fit in, but Shani can no longer hide her secrets and past life on the mainland.
When Shani's past eventually catches up with her, Riku needs to decide what comes first - his friendship with Shani or his future on the island...
