It is 2012 A.D., and the world is ruled by vampires. Humans are slaves, playthings that the vampire masters are free to do anything with.

Celestia is one of these slaves. She is owned by a brutal vampire named Damien, one of the council members. After standing up to him in order to save a fellow slave, she decides that she'd rather risk escape than face her cruel master's wrath. But what awaits her in a world where humans can only be slaves? Will she ever find a safe place? Or other humans that are free?

Alazne is a thief and a liar. She leads a group of bandits that take advantage of the vampires' underestimation of humans to rob them. Pretending to be a helpless slave, she gets into their houses and takes anything of value. One day she finds a ticket to get into one of the richest vampire's house, Damien Latrove, a councilman. She doesn't need to question why the escaped slave looks exactly like her, she just thanks fate for all of the money that she'll make off those worthless leeches. Robbing vampires is Alazne's own brand of justice against the fiends that have enslaved her people, but maybe not all vampires are bad? Dante seems okay, but can Alazne set aside her lifelong hatred to see the good in him? Or maybe her new 'master' will kill her before she discovers anything.

As these two girls move through eachother's lives they learn that things are not always what they seem, including themselves.

This is my first full length story, so I'd love to have some feedback. It doesn't have to be nice, I just want to know what you think and if there's anything I could improve on.

Daffodils and Hyacinths (Book 3 of the Forgotten Truths Series) by Contrastgaze
29 parts Complete Mature
"One small incident can ruin or change a person's life - Now imagine a storm," Dusty winds spit at Sun'Tribe and her people. Cramped, multiple families are forced to huddle in one of the ruins; the only remaining proof of the original four tribes that used to stand. "Unifying us all is what should make us less insecure about ourselves, but our differences are what makes each one of us unique; special," In Sun'Tribe, everyone is the same. No traditions, no religion, no abilities, no culture, not even the way someone dresses themselves can be different. Dull, brown clothes, with hair cut down and pulled back in a simple manner. Difference is only for their Leader. The supreme ruler who never goes hungry, and lives in a large palace just for herself. It isn't until two lowly commoners take in the last of the outcasts, that their world sees a future of life again. ~*~ Written by the beas-TEAS, @EChO11111111111 (old acc: Echo__IsNoFurry) and @Ripplestream11 ; also credit to our friend who is not comfortable sharing her name (As of right now, Echo's account isn't working, AGAIN, so check both for updates) You don't have to read the other previous two books of this series to understand this book. "Forgotten Truths" is more of a backstory-based book, for the old tribes and some of the characters, which takes place a little over a decade before "Daffodils and Hyacinths", and the main details to understand this book are in "The Place where Dreams Fade," but if you're new, you should be caught up after reading 'TRIBES AND RULERS' and the Prologue. Updates might be a little irregular depending on our schedule We all hope you choose to give "Daffodils and Hyacinths" a go! NOTE: This book is not a fanfic, nor does it have any relation to "The Last Airbender" or "Legends of Korra". We definitely do see how it can be related to that, but we did not intend for that to be the outcome. Thank you!

The Dangerously Cute Dungeon Diary by AutumnPlunkett
47 parts Ongoing
Violet was happy, in love, and had a successful career. She was even hoping to start her own family with her beloved husband. However, all of those dreams are crushed when she comes home to find her husband brutally murdered. Things only get worse as the killer has to clean up their mess and can't just leave Violet as a witness to their crime. Things only get crazier as Violet finds herself reincarnated into another world full of monsters and magic. Only, Violet isn't a powerful adventurer or a talented craftsman. Instead, she finds herself in charge of her own dungeon where she must summon monsters and plan traps to bring the adventurers to their knees. Violet just wants to mourn her lost love and enjoy some peaceful scenery. However, cute slimes and playful pixies aren't usually what one would expect when traversing a dungeon full of traps with death waiting around every corner. Can Violet make peace with her bitter end? Can the cute and seemingly harmless monsters that roam her dungeon protect her? Read on to find out! ---------- This is meant to be a companion story to my "The Dangerously Cute Dungeon" series. However, I plan to write it in such a way that it can also be read by itself. The chapters will be very short at roughly 500 - 1,000 words each and they will only feature Violet's POV written as a diary entry. Please note that while there will be descriptions of the dungeon, there will be no system prompts. The point is to describe the character's feelings and journey as a dungeon master in another world rather than having LitRPG elements.
