Renée Monette had always deemed herself as a regular girl living a regular life in the regular city of Los Angeles trying to graduate from a regular high school, even with her father, Eugène Monette, being an all-time successful director.

But Renée hadn't put into consideration a long work-related trip that would send her father to France, their homeland, and cause her to end up in a certain douche's house. Neither had she put into consideration said douche would be connected to an addictive habit she and her father had barely managed to untangle themselves from.

Adonis and Renée find themselves knee-deep into trouble and addiction until Eugène's trip is extended and Adonis's father must leave to France due to the problems arising in his production company.

Would trouble and addiction finally fade into nothing and allow Adonis and Renée to tumble into each other's arms and uncover their dark pasts in the City of Love, or would it chase after them and destroy them entirely?

STRONG LANGUAGE INVOLVED.

softer warning •

french texts will show up at times (especially and mostly during speech).
i don't think i've done the french in this book much justice as it isn't my first language, even if i have been learning and studying it for years now, i do make mistakes here and there! (and probably everywhere).
