"Steve?" His voice was raspy, trying to gage his surroundings. Buckys eyes flash red as he slowly bring the omegas wrist up to his lips slowly scenting him. To bucky the scent was home, safety. "You know who I am." He sighs out in relife trying to hold back tears. "The punk from brooklyn who was to dumb to run away from a fight." Bucky says not breaking eye contact with his mate. Mate. Buckys head suddenly screams at the pain of their broken bond. The first thing Hydra did to him was chemically sever his mating bond. He knew the process was horrific for him, but he couldn't even begin to imagine what his omega went through due to it. Steve runs a hand through buckys long hair trying to calm his as quickly as possible. Steve knew they had about an hour before his rut fully kicked in and they had to be in the safe house by then otherwise the alpha would tear the place apart.
