Join Night Hooves, a young mare and practical royalty in the Herd of Storming Peaks. You see, her father is the leader of this herd. Night Hooves is shy, very self-conscious, and overall, not the leader that her father is. Unexpectedly, the herd is thrown into chaos. The ground begins to shake, and the world is torn in two. In the midst of this chaos, Night Hooves is separated from her father and half of the herd. The young mare must find the leader in herself if she and her friends want to survive; but she has found it hard to find strength in times of peace, so how is she supposed to find strength now that the land itself is falling apart?

Hi! This is my first story, and it is based off of Erin Hunter's books! Let me know if you want your own character in the story, and I'll be sure to put them in! I made the cover myself, but I'm looking for people to do he other books' covers! Thank you! I hope you like it! :)

**Book 3 in the Coda Paxton Series** My Aunt Callie always said I had to get back on the horse if I fell off. It didn't matter if I got bucked off, or if my cinch was too loose, or if I went to turn a barrel and slipped too far. I always had to get back on that horse before she would let me leave the arena. She'd tell me "Blake, you need to put on your big girl boots and get back in that saddle". So I did. That's how I grew up, riding with my dad or his sister every chance I got, and that's the way they taught me to live. If something scared me, they'd just tell me to put on my big girl boots, and that was enough challenge to get me to do it. Also, cowgirls don't cry. I'd never been much of a crier. Hell, I was known for being tougher than my cousin Kellan, and I was proud of that. I was proud because I was tough. Then, I met Coda. Coda was the girl with the whole world against her. Every time she started gaining confidence and feeling good about life, she'd get knocked back down. The thing about her was she didn't give up. Coda may have been a sweet, quiet soul, but she was tougher than any bull rider or bronc buster. She's the girl that showed me you can cry and still be tough. She's the girl that showed me what tough really is. Coda Paxton was the girl who made me want to put on my big girl boots and get things done, and not just because of the challenge. "This bounty is mine, Xander," He said. It was the first time I ever heard his name. Xander smirked, "Kill me first, then take her." He proposed arrogantly, a silver knife resting confidently in his hand. The man only nodded once as his hand slithered inside his jacket, pulling out another knife. "With pleasure." He finally said and stormed forward. ⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄⋄⋆⋅⋆ After her father died, Elora escaped her arranged marriage, leaving behind the only boy who had ever shown her love. But in pursuit of freedom, she suddenly found herself being hunted by every bounty hunter in the seven territories. The strongest of them all would capture her for his own selfish intentions, and Elora would quickly learn the reason why she was so valuable, who was an ally, and who was not. ⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄ Please do not get scared or bored by the first chapter, trust me, it will pick up after that;) Book One of The Mile Man trilogy. Book Two is called My Willful Flame. Book Three is My Charred Grace This story contains violence, some sexual scenes, and strong language. This is a slow burn, with emphasis on slow. If you will give it patience, the story will be rewarding later, or I hope it does. It has a lot of focus on the plot, so this is not where you will find your smut, although I do not judge even slightly. There is sexual scene, however, that is later, when the plot has been established. Dive in if you dare. ⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄ Promoted by the Stardust community and Magical community. Some people are born to be on the back of a reining horse, Coralee Dutton for one. She's the youngest daughter of John Dutton's older brother Benjamin. John inherited the ranch because he was a rancher while his brother wasn't. There are no hard feelings, Benjamin is happy with his life and the brothers have a deep love for each other. Coralee has been showing horses since she was young and has gotten quite good. She started as a barrel racer and is now into reining horses. She is at the Yellowstone because John wants to buy her a top-quality horse to show, and he's asked Travis Wheatley to bring some to the ranch to show her. Beth Dutton has always hated Coralee. Coralee is younger and prettier and resembles the tragic Elsa Dutton. She hates Beth's drinking problem and tries to stay out of her way, drunk or sober. She believes Beth is unstable and that only makes it worse. Travis has had his eye on Coralee for a long time. He wants to go out with her, hell, he wants to sleep with her but she means more to him. He's a playboy and a rogue and he knows it, but maybe he could change his ways if she just gave him a chance. He's older and feeling the need to settle down and Coralee could make him change his ways. So, you can call this story "based on" Yellowstone if you like. Travis is a character in the story and since Rip and Kayce are basically taken, I used him. Also, there are a lot of Rip or Kayce stories here, I wanted to write something else. Readers: I know ranching, I know horses, I studied equine science. Our instructor used to hire us out to his friends to drive their cattle for them. I participated in a cattle drive celebrating the San Antonio trail. This made this story more fun to write
Southern Charm by anj6232
26 parts Complete Mature
Jessie White stands out from the crowd. As a Southern woman, she defies the typical expectations. While others her age are embarking on new careers, Jessie's upbringing on a ranch alongside four brothers equipped her with skills many would balk at. She's adept at horseback riding, calving, stall cleaning, and more. Fiercely independent, Jessie refuses to rely on any man, a resolve hardened after heartbreak at the hands of Max Lane, a rancher's son, two years prior. Jessie has resolved to take up bull riding, a skill that appears to be a family legacy. Her lifelong dream has been to ride a bull before an audience, but now, her ambition has shifted to rescuing the White Family Ranch after a substantial portion of their funds vanished and debts began accumulating. Max Lane's family is eager to buy the White Family Ranch, but Jessie refuses to let him take away the one thing that sustains her. Being a beauty bartender owner and a female bull rider makes things challenging. Everyone says she can't do it because she's a woman, but Jessie is determined to prove them all wrong. Initially skeptical, Trace Black doesn't recognize her potential until he witnesses her mount a bull for the first time. Although he may appear arrogant externally, that pales in comparison to his internal complexity. Trace and Jessie are initially oblivious to their chemistry, though it's evident to everyone around them. As Jessie gathers the courage to express her feelings to Trace, the things she dreads occur. However, it doesn't make matters worse; it alters everything profoundly. *WARNING* Book contains language, child loss, trauma, etc. Thank you for choosing my story!
