Magnus's mom was tired of his partying, his drinking, and his constant bad decisions. For her the only choice she had was to send him to a faraway boarding school in New England, The Institute of Alicante; a rather overly pretentious academy located in Idris. Its no where even near Magnus's usual life, but then again he's always wanted to try new things...or new people.
