Musings on life in the form of poetry, written by a fourteen year old poet.The echoes of a life of change, of beauty, of sunlit days and the songs of love. But also the suicide, depression, and bullying. The self harm and self haters.
Because without the dark, how could we see the stars?
Warning: this collection contains potential triggers.
And I'm here to talk, if you need a friendly voice to vent to. I will always reply within a couple of days.
Suicide, self harm, and depression are a real problem, they are out there, and it's not okay. There are alternatives, people to talk to. And even if you don't have a clinical mental health problem, you can be suicidal.
And as a side note, the mental health charity Mind is doing great work. You can donate on their website.

EPIPHANY
"I'm desperately trying to heal myself." •. •. •. •. •. I strongly believe art isn't supposed to be pretty, or liked and understood by the masses. Art is supposed to make you uncomfortable, it's supposed to boggle your mind and touch your heart. And this is what I've done. Most of my words aren't pretty. Scratching the Surface (Poems)
UPDATE: I wrote these when I was 13 and depressed all the time. I'm 18 now, and, fortunately, life's been going well! Unfortunately, these poems are fairly cringe, so read at your own risk. Just some poems that I write when I'm in the poetic mood. Occasionally, there might be some other people's poems. I should warn you that these can get kind of dark.
