"I'll make a deal with you, how about that?" I asked. 

This seemed to grab her attention. She shifted her body to where she was half facing me. I could tell she was listening now. 

"I give you a job as my assistant if you promise not to steal anything. If you do, I'll bring up the charges again." 

She said nothing. So I decided to keep adding to it. 

"It pays $300 an hour... and you only have to do some paperwork. Its a pretty easy job." 

The rest of her body faced me now. Her arms still crossed, she seemed to agree to my deal. She nodded and stuck out her hand. Through the bars, I shook it. 

"Alright, I'll get you out of here and you start Monday morning. I'll have an attire ready."
