"You're sure--" Zach started, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"That you want to?" Dari finished, running his hand through his messy hair.
"It'll be awfully dangerous." They then simultaneously.
"Yeah, I'm sure. Afterall, friends stick together, right?" I chuckled nervously, trying to lighten up the mood. And with that, they handed me the key to the 'HQ'.
Meredith Dixon had always lived the life that most girls would kill to live. She lived the life of luxury and richness. She, however, wasn't happy with that life. She was the heir to the multi-million company Dixzonic, but she didn't want to be the heir. If her life meant being kept behind tons of paperwork, she didn't want to live it. School, however, wasn't much better. Boys would want to date her to get on her good side and girls? They were jealous of that a) Meredith was super popular with the boys and b) she was rich. She was bullied by almost everyone ranging from the boys she turned down to the jealous girls because of her difference. However, that all changed when two people stumbled (more like bumped) into her life.
Zachary Forrest and Darius Vaze we're normal kids. Well, normal wouldn't be the word to describe them as. They were good, yes very good, yet very bad at the same time. And they each had gained Meredith's trust like how you'd fall asleep. Slowly...but then all at once.
And that's where our story begins.
||Note: This book was started when I was 10, with a big idea. I was really proud of it and thought I'd just edit it a bit and give it to y'all. So, I am very sorry for bad grammar, spelling, plot holes, or anything that is totally weird. This was inspired by my own bullying.||

Before I knew it my shirt was torn away from my torso and tossed on the floor, Charlie's doing the same. Our kiss intensified and I felt him groan against my lips. I swear to god, this boy is making out with me like his life depends on it! And that's when reality punched me in the gut... the words 'this boy' kept running through my head over and over again until it got through the thick fog of vodlka and whatever else was in those stupid drinks. I, Ace Loughty, was kissing a guy. A fucking guy. A fucking straight guy named Charlie Simmons who of course had to be one of the most popular dickheads in Meadow Ridge High. I am so unbelievably fucked. ----- 17 year old Ace Loughty was never one longing to be in the spotlight. In fact, he craved the exact opposite: being left alone. When Ace was 13, the tragic death of his younger sister Eleanor caused him to rapidly gain popularity and pitiful looks. He hated the attention.
