All children are different. That's what makes them special. As they grow into adulthood is where they begin to lose everything. This is because they begin to mold into the idea of a normal persona. What a shame it must be to remain normal as the rest of the world had gone completely and utterly mad. 
I don't believe Tom Riddle grew up this way. There was always something dark inside that little boy's brain. The way he looked at me with those bloody eyes and the way his smile never made any wrinkle on what everyone assumed to be a perfect face.
