Wei Wuxian challenges Lan Zhan intellectually and he finds himself desperately craving his messages and phone calls. But Wei Wuxian knows him as a thirty three year old closetted gay man who couldn't get into a relationship because of family constraints. He respects him as a peer and often shares his life struggles with him. Lan Zhan adores being treated as an adult for the first time in his life. They decide to keep their friendship platonic and virtual so as not to corrupt it. What will happen when on the first day of college Lan Zhan finds Wei Wuxian as his Chemistry professor?
