In the midst of a homicide investigation, a detective grows particularly close to the case and finds himself questioning a suspect who seems to know more than she lets on.
NOTE: This is a screenplay draft for a short film idea I had. I'd appreciate feedback on the content, characterization, and details of the dialogue. I want this to be the best it can be before sending it to production, so all opinions are welcome.

This just makes me cringe because they say this when they're just on their first draft. I decided to post the first draft of my story called Specter. Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book! Enjoy the first draft of the story so far... This story tackles perspective on life from two different people who might not be very different after all. I don't really want to spoil much of it and I don't really have a cover for it , so if you fuck with the title for some reason and want to kill some time read this. keep in mind I am not perfect there will be A LOT OF DICTATION and GRAMMAR MISTAKES! I hope I was able to make you feel something even if that feeling was cringe. Forgot to say some stuff... This story takes place in a fictional future. And I was heavily inspired by bladerunner , Detroit become human, The wolf among us and probably a bunch of other stuff. Btw if you took the time to read this, DESTROY ME even if you liked it. I'm totally open to criticism and any kind of feedback would be appreciated. I can only improve, right? You might see a lot of "Sargent" instead of "sergeant" so... I blame my autocorrect for this one but eventually I'll realize my mistake.
