The Keller kids are both very different. The eldest, 16 year old Allen, has a bit of an attitude problem, is sarcastic, creative, artistic, and has a hard time paying attention. She can't play sports. She doesn't like clothes or shopping. She hates the popular girls at school and has never had a boyfriend. Not exactly what we could call the apple of her parents eye.

14 year old Whitney is completely different. A freshman at her high school but already one of the most popular girls at school. Her bubbly and charming personality draws people to her in flocks and she's had more date requests than anyone in the school. She's beautiful, charismatic, athletic, musically gifted, and intelligent. Whitney's on the dance team, cheer squad, and the honour roll. She also has to balance out her sixty million friends and boyfriend, 12 grader Jack.

Well Allen has to deal with constant disproval, Whitney deals with constant pressure from school and parents.
