Daedalus told Icarus to stay behind him.

Icarus completely intended to obey, but then he saw her.

The sun.

His heart melted when she saw her. She was so beautiful and warm, glowing with life. He wanted to be near her. He wanted to know what she was like.

But he couldn't.
