"And they all lived happily ever after..." was a phrase Dodge Garrett found herself always repeating to herself throughout childhood and adolescence; for she knew that if she thought positively, the right thing would surely happen. However, before she knew it, she was twenty-four, alone, stuck in the same job, and seemed to think life would be truly be lived unhappily ever after.
That is, until some orange-haired, crooked-toothed English alien comes to town, changing everything that Dodge thought she knew. It seems that the line pointing to the "right" way for a single girl, looking to fade away, to live is starting to blur with that that of a high-class, promiscuous one of a star's. Could it exactly what she thinks: destroy her, or the exact opposite? Who's to know what is right way to go, be, do, live anymore? After all, some play it left-hand.

she should stick to the job.. right? collette derose-o'connor has one job. keep the timeline in order by any means deemed necessary. staying actively apart of a set point in time is not something she is accommodated to. therefore, she is unsure on how to act once she realized she was going to be stuck in the 70's for 3 years MINIMUM. in doing so she does the thing she has warned herself against since the very day she beginning. do not create platonic or romantic relationships in a set timeline that you will not be able to return to. now she finds herself wanting a life with her new found friends even if that means getting thrown into a war unlike no others she has faced. maybe she'll even get her happy ending with the one she was supposed to destine to someone else. but this is no happy ending. unless. it is a happy ending just with misunderstanding middles. or maybe it's just a horrible beginning.

This may not come as too much of a surprise, since he loved younger women and even dated a girl half his age near the end of his life. I just wanted to take my own spin of this idea. It is 1974, and Elvis is busy doing shows in Vegas. He is still in a bit of a slump because of his divorce with Priscilla the year before, and, for the first time in his life, he doesn't want to have anything to do with romance. He just tries to stay busy. Well, all is thrown off-kilter when he happens to see a young bellhop at the hotel he's living and working in being mistreated. Of course, he will have none of that. Turns out the lad is a young woman, to his surprise, as her blonde hair escapes her bellhop hat. This blonde beauty looks no older than twenty-one, but... well, we all know how much Cupid loves toying with Elvis. And this girl, who happens to not be much of a fan of Elvis, is shocked when she starts feeling something for a man nearly twice her age!
