This is a book of my poetry that I did for English. Our prompts for this book were from the 30 days of poetry sight. But note that we didn't do all 30 days we just had to do a select few that our teacher thought were good.

Full of poems that I've written, am writing, will write. Maybe mostly about life and others are deep stuff and more... Some are happy and some are sad/dark. Some poem(s) I wrote about or related to a book/movie.etc. Others I wrote as a story in poem form. *checked my old poems recently and GORE, HORROR, BLOOD ALERT for some of the poems near the beginning!! SO maybe best to read my poems from bottom to the top if you mind the stuff^^^ *I think the more recent poems are quite different from the older ones. Some poems you can interpret as you wish :) Hope you'll like the poems!!! A Day in the Life of the Human Race (Poetry Volume I)
This book is completely random and contains all different kinds of free-verse poetry. ❅ I don't even know where some of these came from, but are pieces of writing somehow developed from the pits of my consciousness that make me wonder what the hell is even going on in there. ❅ I can't even fully make sense of the things I write, so this book is not neat and not strictly one thing, so if that's what you enjoy then by all means, go find something else. ❅ And these writing pieces are going to contradict each other in more ways than one. ❅ So decide to give it a read, or don't. Are protect and defend the same?" The man asked again but this time the girl didn't answer. He looks up at the sky with an empty look as dark clouds cover the moon. "Sun at day, star at night, Blue by day, black by night, He looks for it while she writes it, What does it mean? They asked, They're like us, she said." "You're really bad at making poems." Do you ever smile at 12 AM, staring at the moon, Watching as stars glisten by, Coloring the darkness Only for the sun to take them away too soon? Wonders so full of amusement at the night sky, Smiling at 12 AM With an imagination And hearts full of thoughts soaring by. ------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to my thoughts. POEM COMPILATION *** Under the gaze of the moonlight, The stars asked three people that night, "What will you give in exchange for my light?" The doctor answered, "I'll give you my sight, So you will see the world in someone's eyes." The teacher said, "I'll offer you my wisdom, So you will build knowledge in your kingdom." The last one who talk only seldom, Stared at the stars with a lonely smile, "I am a poet, and I will not lie, I cannot give you a sight, nor I can be wise, I have nothing in my life but sadness only, So I offer you the RHYMES OF MY MELANCHOLY."
