The choices have been made. Erik let Christine and Raoul go. A falling chandelier caused a fire. The Opera Garnier went up in flames. With that, Christine was stuck in the burning opera house. Erik, suspecting that his beloved was left at the opera, does not hesitate and returns to find and save her.
