It's been years since Isabelle Jeany Perkins thought of the one who got away. When you are career driven it is easy to be submerged into ones self. To be lost within the hustle of every day life and ambition to be better than is expected of you. Its been years since Isabelle looked back at the life she once had, a life that was no where near the spectrum in which she is immersed in now. She is plagued by the friends she left behind the family who gave her love but withheld support, and a love that was so true and real it threatened to over take her sanity. After seven years of running from the ones she loves and a past that seems to be fully healed maybe it is time to face what could have been but never was.

"You've become so damaged that when someone tries to give you what you deserve, you have no idea how to respond." He says taking a step closer to me. I frown. "So, it's my fault? That I'm to blame for being damaged?" "No, it's not your fault at all, but it is your fault for believing you don't deserve better. That you don't deserve to be happy." Nathan looks away from my eyes, inhaling. "Maybe the little things that you consider your weakness are actually the things that people treasure most about you. Maybe you hate that you care too much...or that you wear your heart on your sleeve. But seriously, some people think that's the best damn thing about you. We all have different little things that make up who we are, we don't need to change those things, but we can choose who we share them with." "What are you saying?" Now so close to me, he places his palm on my cheek, and whispers. "You're treasure, Madison...I hope you realize that." ________ Nathan Lane a Billionaire heartthrob who has everything in his life. Money, fame and power. Except he keeps some secrets of his own. This persona he puts on for the world to see is not what he truly wants. But all of that changes when he meets the lovely Madison Monroe. Madison Monroe has always been too soft for her own good, but life takes a drastic turn when unexpected things happens to her. Now she has to pick herself up from the ashes, but she doesn't believe she deserves forgiveness. She doesn't know what to do, until she meets Nathan Lane in a very not so sober way. But both of them don't know that they share a similar past. The Universe played it's game and tied them together. Maybe they are destined to be together... Who knows?
