Aela  and Pera are life long friends and have been struggling to find sanity in an insane world. In the year of 2000, world renounced scientists gather together to create a breed of soldiers. Soldiers that are fighting machines. They feel no emotion. They have one purpose: fight. For a long time they worked, but then, one caught an illness.

And in 2016, that one person bit another, who bit another, who bit another. Well you get the picture right? Those "soldiers" turned into zombies. They attacked anything and anyone. But they think like humans, they act like humans, they still have their human instincts. They are zombies, yes, but they still have a sliver of humanity in them. 

Aela and Pera must find a way out of the dangerous wilderness and find security among the last surviving people.
