Cassie Rosen is a 15 year old girl whose best friend, Ari Simmons, had committed suicide only a month ago due to hate crimes because he was gay. Throughout her story she remains in the hands of a boy named Kory Masons, as she relives memories before the suicide. Cassie is on mission to stop the hate against being different, but if to be yourself is to be different, then she’ll give up everything, even her life to stop the hate that people are causing.
