There would be no disturbance.

The civilian quietly ducked into a room, holding his breathe, the revolver clutched in his hands. A shrill hiss moved the silence. It was blood-curdling and vicious; a sure sign of impending death. The man raised the gun and clicked the safety off. He was well aware bullets were ineffective, but he held too much dignity to go down without a proper fight. A sticky translucent substance drizzled onto his shoulder. He glanced up, but darkness was the only thing to greet him as a pair of hands, black as an onyx gem, grasped him by the neck and pulled him into the air vent, slicing his throat with wicked claws, blood gushing out onto the floor below and settling indifferently on the walls. Not a soul heard his futile cries for help.

Because in space no one can hear you scream.

"Ahhh!!!" The man's body falls to the floor limp and I fall to the floor out of terror, "Why are you screaming? I saved you from being raped." I look at the man who is holding a gun with a little smile on his face. He holds the gun up to my head and I start crying, "P-Please, p-please don't do this. I-I won't tell anybody." He bends down and I whimper, "I don't think I can let you go. What happened you run and tell in the next three days? You've already seen my face and heard my voice." I shake my head, "I swear I won't tell anybody! I-I don't know anybody!" He looks at me up and down, "I'll give you two choices. I kill you now or you come with me. You can keep me entertained for a while." €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€ Lyric Dime is a twenty-one year old loner who works in a top tier casino. ⚠️ MATURE⚠️ This story contains strong use of language and mature scenes. If you are offended easily do not read. •.• I snuggled into the comfortable warmth of the fluffy pillow as I was eager to go back to sleep. The fan lullabied me into a hazy state. Suddenly, a heavy weight landed on my waist, pulling me from the tired daze. I leaned up in shock as my hands flung forward defensively to push whoever was on me off. With a strong force, my shoulders were shoved backwards and into the mattress. Grunts of struggle filled the room as we fought each other. The offender grabbed my wrists and held them firmly above my head with one strong hand. Sobs of terror escaped from my chest as a thumb caressed my cheek to wipe away the spilled tears. "P-please let go of me," I begged, trembling. "You are so beautiful." A man's voice spoke, his large hand leaving my face and traveling down my body to squeeze my pelvic region. "Stop." I screeched, my demand ricocheting between the four bedroom walls. The man growled darkly. "If you scream again, I will kill you." I nodded keenly in response to show that I would not challenge his threat. His hand slowly freed my mouth, testing if I would disobey him. He reached into his pocket. A knife, zip tie, and a rag were all revealed. The view made me realize that this could be my last chance to get help. If I did not call out right now, he would take me. I would not make it out alive either way. I let out a bloodcurdling scream loud enough to wake up the whole neighborhood.

Word Count: 105,000 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He turned slowly back, dreary eyes meeting mine. The towering man was nearly seven feet tall and all bulging muscles. His hair was dark and cut long skimming his smooth angled jaw. Brows watching me with the same intensity as I was watching him. Very lovely rich tan color. Shirtless and barefoot, but wearing simple leather pants, with some kind of pack hanging to his hip. Stomach raw with some deep gash and body littered with cuts. The entire picture of him was genuinely mouthwateringly handsome, but with the dagger still held in one hand entirely too deadly. "Stay right there Dothraki!" I called, my rifle finally having something in the crosshairs again. I'd never watched the popular show, but the videos I saw sure had him looking like he could play one of the built characters. The dagger dropped to the ground and he fell to a single knee after it, though he didn't bend to pick it up. He bent to ...bow? His head stayed inclined as he bent and spoke. His voice was smooth and husky, deep and baritone. Exceptionally beautiful. "Earth female safe." 1st in Aliens: 09/21

Only a convenient friend was her salvation, and this same friend helped to stir a hatred and jealously for the human monsters that went about their day without a care in the world while she starved. And she allowed it, welcomed the ill feelings, for her parents had told her much the same before they'd been killed, along with her little brother, Benjamin. But though her parents hadn't made it out alive, Benjamin hadn't really been killed. He silently bided in an enemy base, surrounded by people he soon wanted nothing more than to kill. And though he was young when the fire ended his family, he swore he would never forget. He promised himself every day, until a time when he could live out his goals.
