Just Another Mermaid Story {on hold until further notice}

"I dove into the cool water and immediately felt the sensation of my tail forming in a matter of seconds. I can't really describe it, but to the best of my ability, it feels as if someone is binding my legs together electrically, but it doesn't hurt, it actually tickles, and then my feet fan out, to form the end of my tail, which feels like someone spreading my toes out. And my sea green eyes change to a bright hot pink and my hair, which is jet black, like my 2nd cousin's, is pin straight, but with curls on the ends transforms to a more mermaidy wavy light sea green that fades into a sky blue. My tail is covered with gorgeous silver, blue, violet, and white scales that shimmer in the water. And when I swim fast enough, all the scales flicker and appear a vibrant and vivid gold." ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is about a typical 14-year old girl. She's got a younger sister and brother, who are twins. She's got a mother, and a father. She's got Avalon, her best friend and Nixie, her other best friend from another world. Oh, sorry, did I type typical before? Whoopsies.... That's kinda awkward. That's supposed to be "This is about a different 14-year old girl." See? This is Ciara Jackson. Her mom's a mermaid, her dad's a scientist and her brother and sister. Well, they're something special, maybe a little bit less special than Ciara. Ciara's a hybrid. The typical half-human-half-mermaid hybrid.
