Axton has a secret. He killed his sister and two of her friends, and he plans for more. He is only seventeen and will do anything to keep his secret to himself. But the way he kills is like no other serial killer. He hypnotized the boyfriends of these girls to do it for them. The guys don't remember a thing, not even who they were once dating. Four days after the girls go 'missing', he sends a basket made from their hair to their family. Inside is a note that says they are fine, and there is nothing to worry about, only that he wants $5,000 for their 'safe' return. How long can Axton keep up his rampage? What will keep him sane?

I wasn't sure what love was. Everyone spoke of it like a legend. Something sacred that you'd capture if you were lucky. The man I had let take my heart wanted to carve it out of my chest as proof.
