The Core Four have been in Auradon for a year now. This is the first year back since Maleficent's attack and they couldn't be more excited. Carlos and Evie founded a fashion club, Jay is ready for another excellent tourney season, and Mal has been working with Ben on a new proclamation: Magic in school.
In between all of this, Chad Charming has taken a particular interest in Carlos.
