The Moon Goddess' Rejection

"Asher, I'm getting to attached to you. I think it's time." I stated. Asher's smile faltered and he nodded.

I took a deep breath, "I, Ophelia Johnston, reject you, Asher Evans, as my mate and alpha." That wasn't so hard. In fact, that was too easy.

I could still feel the mate bond between us. I could tell that Asher noticed too, by the expression on his face. I touch his hand. The Sparks were still there, and stronger than ever.

Ophelia Johnston. The hard-headed alpha of the Fuerza Pack, is looked down upon yet feared by other packs because of her father's past and her gender.

Asher Evans. The hard-headed alpha of the Adrenalina Pack, is respected and feared among other packs and his own.

Ophelia belongs to the Fuerza Pack. A pack know for its' strength, and its' lack of omegas. Her father, the ex-alpha of the pack, went crazy after his mate was killed in front of him and their only pup, Ophelia, by his rival. Who was his rival you ask? None other than the ex-alpha of the Adrenalina pack, Asher's father.

What happens when Ophelia and Asher find out that they are mates? They reject each other of course. But what would happen if the rejection didn't work? What would happen if the Moon Goddess refused to let you reject your mate?
