In the undertale universe a human fell down into the underground (AKA the monsters' home) this human is known as Frisk. She (Canonically she is gender neutral but for the sake of the fanfic they will be known as a she) befriended the entire underground by freeing them from a seemingly eternal spell that trapped them down there for many years. Though to get there Frisk had to sacrifice a friend (Asriel) and from that day on frisk just couldn't get the fact that she couldn't save someone out of her head. The 8th human Frisk has completed the true pacifist route. There next reset they do another pacifist and but when they reach Asriel, he defeats her and resets the timeline. A mid-teen named Eric who has knowledge of all of this through unknown means. After Chara falls into the underground and dies and so does Asriel, Eric jumps into the underground to save all the humans but finds love on his journey. The main cast are all 16 for those wondering as I realized I never specified age.

While based off of the cannon game, it is still an AU of sorts, so don't expect 100% accuracy to the game's dialogue and story.
