My name is Joss (jah-ss).I was born and raised in the streets of Compton until I was 14 years old. My dad and my mom is all I moved here with. Where my mom is now? I don't even know. I remember her leaving me with my dad. I watched as she developed a new life without us, so we just got use to living without her. During that time in my life, my mind started to develop. Living in the hood and seeing what you see everyday plus watching your mom walk out on you puts a dent in your mindset. This is why people call me unapproachable and unapologetic, especially in 11th grade. High school is the place where you go to prom, go to football games, show school spirit. In school, me and boys don't really connect well. Coming from the lifestyle I was born into, I'm tougher than you think. Most boys think by my looks that I'm sweet, nice, and they can talk to me any kind of way. Don't let the looks fool you because they'll trick you into believing you want something that you won't dare to approach.
