Phil has died and Dan has found his body with its soul still incased in it. Usually Dan could just consume his soul and leave with no feelings of remorse, but something about Phil stopped him from doing just that and has instead led him to do something else. Something he never should have done.
Tw: Some mentions of self harm, abuse, mentions of suicide, dark thoughts, an overall sad atmosphere in a couple of chapters, ect.
