The Hawaiian Special Forces
This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!Complete
Spy School: Life After Graduation
I don't any of these characters, just the plot, except for ones I create (Stuart Gibbs does). It will be #Berica and #Zike so if you don't like that, you might not like this. This is the first story I've written so don't judge. Also if there are mistakes, please tell me and I'll fix them. This is about relationships mostly, but there will be some action. Point of views will change, and I'm sorry if the characters seem different, but I feel like it's been a long time and I figure they'll have changed over time. Please note there will be lots of flash backs. I know this is a long description but it's going to be a pretty long book, so bear with me. If anyone has suggestions, you can comment and I'll take them into consideration. I don't know how often I'll update, but I'll try to have it be frequent. I smelt something calming, like the smell of rain and vanilla and suddenly, a guy came in charging at Gabriel. Gabriel didn't have any time to react as he was knocked to the ground. I stared at them in shock as I backed away, not knowing what to do. " Leave him alone! " I yell at the stranger throwing my hands in the air. This gets the guys attention and I notice the aura around him, telling me he's an Alpha. He starts stalking towards me as Gabriel struggled to get up, " Run Reagan! " I ran into a wall behind me causing me to fall and put my hand on my head in pain. I felt tingles on my arm as a hand was placed on my arm. I noticed it was the stranger as he made me face towards him. He crouched down at eye level as he stared into my ocean blue eyes with his sincere chocolate brown eyes. My eyes widened when he said the word that I've been dying to hear since I was a little girl. " Mate. " Reagan's been dreaming of finding her mate since she learned about them. Her twin brother found his a few weeks ago and Reagan's been dying to find her equal. What happens when she find out her mates the cold hearted Alpha that she's been told cruel stories about.
