I am a lucid dreamer.
I am aware I am dreaming, and can control what happens in them.
But every night it's the same dream.
It's been going on for over 17 years now.
Just recently I've been having what they call "sleep paralysis", which means your mind is half awake, half hallucinating, and makes you unable to move any part of yourself, so you're trapped inside your own body, which feels dead, while your mind goes insane.
It's terrifying, and I can't stop it from happening.
But that all started to change one night, when my dream wasn't the same.

The Myth that Became Real
I was an ordinary girl, as normal as anyone can be. The day some mysterious guy rolled into town and noticed me, my world flipped upside down and things started happening. Things I could not explain. Human Status
I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. I prayed every night that a handsome prince would come and take me to live in his castle just like in the books. I prayed that I would be a princess and have a kingdom just like in the books. But I was never told that the books were all lies. I was never told the true reason why I was a well sought after commodity. I was never told that I am not the only one like me. When I found out it was too late to save myself. To think and in less than 4 days I will be taken away from my current home and be in a home of my own. I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. Always agree with my owner. 5. I am not human so I cannot do human things. I wondered how pretty human women were. I was so nervous about my departure I nearly refused to leave my room. I could leave if there wasn’t anything wrong with me physically. I remember the den mother telling me not to do anything that would cause a refund or else I would be exterminated upon refund. My new owner had thirty days to return me. If he returned me and no one else was interested I would be exterminated. My Hybrid Troubles
*This is Purely fantasy* I'm Rose. I am 50% witch, about 25% vampire and about 25% she-wolf (Werewolf). My father IS half warlock and half vampire. My mother WAS half witch and half she-wolf (werewolf). I had two older siblings but they passed away on their sixteenth birthdays. She had been told TOO much about her genes and what they meant. When she shifted, she tried to stop it because she was scared of her wolf. After my sister passed so did my mother, she was severely depressed and couldn't take the thought of me leaving her too early. Before she died, she told my father everything about herself and her werewolf roots. She only survived until my dad knew everything, it seemed like that was all that mattered, like she knew she was going to die. I have been taught the ways of my ancestors, werewolf, vampire and witch, slowly so I can absorb it all properly. ------------------------- This story is about me, a young girl, with a lot of issues. I always am treated like trash by my rude human stepmother. Around my father, she's completely innocent but when he isn't, hell just about breaks loose. The world had gone to hell long ago, taken over by the vampire race. In order to keep some sort of peace in our land, the Vampire Lords made a consecutive agreement. If you stepped out of line, you died, end of story. Even if the rich were still under their control, their lives were still better than the poor. The poorest lives held a much worse fate. The men were to be put to work as slaves, whether that meant serving a specific vampire, or just building their castles, they were slaves. The women were to be pets. Pets were the lowest rank you could have. They were forced into cages that were too small to stand in with collars around their necks. They spent their lives in pet shops, just waiting for the dreadful day that they'll be bought. They were treated like animals, trained into what their master wanted, and punished if they misbehaved. Those who were lucky enough to live through that, we're to be slaughtered for their blood at age twenty-five in an act to make sure that our population would stay steady. I was born into this world. Born into this world full of blood-sucking monsters. Except, I was one of the lucky ones. Was. It all ended for me when I was 12, when I was taken away from the last bit of hope and family that I had left.
