There I sat, in the waiting room. A place I find myself often. Over ten times I  have been here, 4 of which had not been good. I nervously bite my nails, and painfully slow, I wait for the news.

"I'm sorry," the doctor says, " There was nothing we could do."

Those eight words that doctor said, put Emerald into a pit of insanity. When her father dies, her mother already dead, and herself having already have fallen into depression, she has nothing to do but go rouge. No pack. No money. And certainly no will to live, Emerald's life was hopeless.

The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. "Basement...blood...Elle..." I hear sounds of movement in the background and connect the dots. Elle's bleeding, or something... "Deep breaths baby, deep breaths. It's okay, you're okay" I murmur reassuring words to her, thankful that there's no traffic. Several thoughts run through my mind as I drove to her house. The last time we spoke, she could barely stand me, but now she's calling me. I feel kinda used, but now's not the time to think about that. I reach her house in a matter of minutes and shove the door open. The house is quiet, save for my heavy breathing and footsteps. I reach the basement and take in the sight in front of me. I could see what was going on but I was just that voice in the back of your head. My wolf put her front right paw on the rogue's chest and dug her claws into his chest making it long and painful, as she reached his heart she dug them deeper till his heart stopped beating. She looked around to find out that most of her pack was injured. She kept looking until she saw the wolf she had desperately wanted to kill trying to escape. She started to run after him dodging attack after attack, arrow after arrow she had finally cornered him. He shifted back and was not embarrassed that he was naked. Laurels wolf didn't shift back or give control back ether. "I'm sorry but this is for your own good."He said before I felt something shot through my back and that's when everything went black I could hear voices all around me and the leaves crunching until it became a deathly silence... Laurel was just a normal orphan, well as normal as a werewolf can be. she has a twin sister and two mates but what happens when she moves from L.A to Bristol find out by reading the book.
