Ever since Amehlia could talk, she always could find a knack to see through a person. She can tell if they lie, whether they commit a crime, and whether they are bound to be innocent or guilty.

At 16 she works for her local government in Wikkicha, Maine, cracking cases as the jury's secret weapon. She's never been wrong, the evidence always on her side, so she's a force to be reckoned with.

But what happens when she opens a file to a 17 year old boy who allegedly killed someone? Will she crack the case or sentence a man she's always crushed on to jail?

People will be tested. Lies will be told. And there's one secret that no one saw coming.
