The War of the SandWing Succession is now over. Pyrrhia is at peace now, the Dragonets have opened up an Academy.

But, of course, not everyone agrees. And War can cause lots of things, grief, grudges, and perhaps loneness.

At least that's what Scorch feels like.

He doesn't agree sharing a cave or area at all with other dragons. He'd prefer to stay behind in the SandWing orphanage and be left alone, but Queen Thorn insists on him going, and wouldn't take no for an answer, so he went.

When he arrived, he realized that all the time he spent avoiding dragons and being alone, was another pain he couldn't bare.

Protecting the dragons he now cares about, he sets his eyes on a suspicious dragon, one he hasn't seen before.

Scorch and his friends now realize that this dragon could either bring Pyrrhia together, or cause it to fall...

Belladonna, the heir to the Rainwing throne and the daughter of Queen Glory and King Deathbringer thought that her only problems were trying to conceal her mind-reading abilities and secure a peaceful future for the tribes in the Rain Kingdom. That is until a strong, protective Skywing/Seawing soldier stumbles into her life in search of his long-lost brother. While the two groups, Gale and Storm travel the continent to find each other, (with the help of Tempest and Belladonna,) they begin to catch glimpses of a changing Pyrriah and start wondering what is really happening in the alleys and backstreets of the world. The answer is in the gatherings of dragons who yearn for a change in power and are willing to sacrifice everything to destroy the current Pyrriah and build a new empire from the ashes. Soon a prophecy surfaces, speaking of six misfit dragonets as the ones to save the fate of Pyrriah again... The dragonets of the prophecy, Belladonna, who will have to overcome her fears and face an oncoming war, Storm an orphan Sea/Sky hybrid in the Skywing army, Desert a runaway Ice/Sand orphan who is a wanted fugitive on the run from the Icewing army, Tempest a Seawing who lives in the Deep Palace with her parents Tsunami and Riptide, Blizzard a sarcastic Icewing with a tortured past and Gale, who is a sweet and intelligent Sea/Skywing. These dragonets are destined to stop the secret rebel plots that are spreading like wildfire through Pyrriah. But there are challenges in the distance, including past villains being risen from the dead and a mixture of heartbreak, betrayal, fatalities, and imprisonment. There is no time to wait, revolution is brewing, and another war is approaching fast on the horizon. Will these new 'dragonets of destiny' be able to stop the oncoming flood of vengeance and save all of Pyrriah? I guess we'll see. !!Violence/fight scenes!! 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁... 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝘆? Life in the rainforest is peaceful. The RainWings live in a place where everything is shared. Food is plentiful, no one ever fights, and even in the midst of war, the kingdom is quiet. Chameleon would never expect anything bad to happen in the forest. A normal dragonet at first, Chameleon discovers that the RainWings are anything but nice. After a nasty encounter, he gains a snout deformity that affects his scales. He suddenly discovers that he has no respect, no friends, and no hope. Eventually, Chameleon is exiled for one simple reason: He is different from everyone else. And then the RainWings do something that Chameleon would never forgive them for. Brimming with fury, Chameleon sets out to prove everyone that indeed he is different- but better than them all. But nothing could prepare Chameleon for what he discovers out in the wilds of Pyrrhia- something so influential that not even Chameleon himself could grasp the true power of it. Now he discovers he has a chance of rewriting his identity, his history, and his future. At last, Chameleon has the potential to make a difference... but what will this scarred, bitter dragon do with his newfound power? _____________________________________________________________ Chameleon ran over to Moss, who was crying, her wings askew. "Did you kill them?" he whispered to Moss. Moss looked up at Chameleon, her eyes glistening with tears. "No," she choked. "You know I wouldn't. That monster- Jaguar- pinned it on me. I promise, Chameleon. I didn't kill anyone. Why are they blaming it on us? What did we do?" "I have an idea," said Chameleon quietly, dangerously. He hissed. "Being different. That's what happened." He drew himself up and curled his claws in. "Trust me, Moss, I will get my revenge." Because no one should be punished for being different. _____________________________ [DISCONTINUED BOOK]

All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when somone starts to pull the strings on his mind as well as the minds of the dragons around him, he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to make the choice.. If living life as dragon... Is worth leaving his human life behind. ---------------------------- Hello fellow WoF readers this is only my second story and my first based on WoF so expect errors. I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: This takes place in a timeline where a school year has already passed without the whole Darkstalker drama. Everything else happend including Carnelians death and the whole Icicle being dream visited by scarlet which means scarlet is dead. Also the JW don't know about moons powers. (Peril knows about Turtle being an animus) In other words it's close to Canon but not quite. Also warning that this book contains some cussing every now and then, currently working on getting rid of it. Thanks to @StormingFire555 for the cover design.

Wings of Fire: Missed | The Turning Tides #1

15 parts Complete

It's been forty years since the War of the Sandwing Succession, and Pyrrhia has been at some moderate peace. Gelid is Queen Blizzard's personal bodyguard. Young, loyal, reckless and determined, Gelid will do anything to keep her queen safe. It is the 30th annual Winter-Spring celebrations where rainwings and icewings came together as friends with the same interests in mind. But the celebration is in danger. After the celebrations are attacked, it's up to Gelid to figure it out before her Queen gets hurt and the relations between the icewings and rainwings and the rest of Pyrrhia explode in turmoil. But before she knew it, old friend of Queen Blizzard's past is back to kill her, half the dragon tribes are on the brink of war with the rest of Pyrrhia and... The Talons of Power are back and they will show the world no mercy. I do not own Wings of Fire or the series, this is merely a fanfiction of an idea I've had for a long time. This story is based off the ending of book 10 and ignores the ending of the epilogue and anything after it. This story is also available on Ao3 and fanfiction.net under the same name.u The sequel has been published, named The Turning Tides.
