Whispers in the Dark

She was heartbroken. Her fiancé decided he wanted freedom. He just couldn’t do it anymore. She wouldn’t forgive him ever. Heartbroken and lonely Laylin decides to leave the hustle and bustle of New York City and go back home to South Carolina where her family is. She quits her job, gets her things from his house and heads out.

She never thought she would come back here. She always wanted to get out of Sally Haul, South Carolina and once she did she was happy, but now she wants nothing more but to be home. And you never know there just may be that one boy there that may be able to make her forget the heartache. That one boy she forgot about so long ago when she left for NYC the first time.

With a heart and trust broken how long will it take for her to move on with her life and start to heal. And with a temperamental cowboy to yank her chains along the way it could be an interesting ride.
