A man found naked and dead in a Halloween party, a very rich man. His wife Mrs. Valentine found him, she is now the rich widow. But is she the sad widow or the black widow? Detective Wadlington must find out who killed this man, who had a reason to kill him? The only one who had anything to win is the wife but after finding out Mr. Valentine lived a double life, had a different name, owed money and had affairs with every young woman that crossed his pass the list of possible killers just grew. I wrote this story back in high school in my Creative Writing Class, I published it here and haven't seen it in years. I came back changed somethings up but kept it to its original short story form. Thanks to anyone who reads it.
