At age 16 Asphodel and Caitrina aren't exactly living the idealistic life-their education has gone down the drain, they get by on Youth Allowance, part time work and live in a run down house in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne with some rather irritable room mates, not being able to walk around without constantly looking over their shoulders or carrying a pocket knife for good measure; they were street kids at best. When they decide enough is enough the two girls muster up the courage to move out, assuming there is a better way to live, and start renting a small apartment above a store, enroll in the local school and have the means to start a fresh. The best thing about moving into this new place is nobody has any perception of who they are, or were. Life is going good for them until a pair of particularly good looking bestfriends, Hassan and Billy start paying close attention to them in class, they're the kind of guys every girl wants but can't have...not only is this causing an uproar socially but could it be something good has eventually come to them? Or are they right to be distrustful of their recent luck? This is only the beginning of a very long journey...All Rights Reserved
