After her parents get sent to jail for missapropiation of funds Faith spends her last summer before college hiding in the countryside splitting her time between playing fronton tennis and indulging in the self destructive habit of googling herself. On her last visit before she has to leave for college her father gives her a cryptic "Trust the lions" and prohibits her from ever visiting him again. Her mother refuses to elaborate. She leaves for college the butt of half the nation's jokes, friendless and basically parentless. That trully should be enough. Things get a whole different difficult when her father is murdered in jail, her mother gets relocated to a high security prison with no visits allowed, one of her teachers seems intent in sexually harrasing her, the voley team turns out to be everything she ever waned in a friendship and also a bit like she joined a girl gang, the cute and smug bastard she met in the bus is apparently the son of one of the biggest cocaine dealers in the world, the whole university seems to have been founded by her family and The Lions are apparently mob kids. Thanks mom and dad, freshman year of college totally wasn't hard enough by itself.
