Alec has been inside writing his fanfiction "The Infernal Devices ".On a unusual morning he sees the glittering amber eyed new boy from across the Cafeteria .Alec is inspired to write the unknown stranger into his fanfiction as the magical High Warlock Magnus Bane .

Things take a turn when Magnus becomes Alecs new roommate ...

Alec's tales all originate from the story's Jace used to make up when they were children , about the mythical demon slaying Shadowhunters .His story's are famous online along with his final year Drarry fanfiction " Accio Hearts " .Along with his growing internet fame , Alec has to deal with his flirty roomate ,his roomates grouchy best friend , a boy in his Fiction Writing class with a smile like the devil . But hes only ever know a love story when hes the one writing it , will he be able to deal with his own ?
