Bright lights, sequins and showbiz drama all make for a great story but Claire's story isn't your typical happy little girl story grows up and falls in love story, she has dark secrets that haunt her day and night. Between social isolation and unstable parental guidance Claire is struggling to survive within a world where normal comes easy to everyone but her. With her 18th birthday looming ahead she comes to realize things need to change and fast if she is going to escape her demons. Adulthood is quickly approaching she has no time to mourn the loss of a childhood she never had to begin with.
After facing yet another set back in her plan to escape, an unlikely hero sweeps in to brighten her night. Liam, the very handsome Irish bar tender at the lounge she has frequented since she was 14. Liam sees through her tough mask and decides he is tired of being the bystander in Claire's life. He is determined to bring happiness to Claire and help quiet the demons in her head but little does he know there are more demons in Claire's life than meets the eye.
Will Claire recover from the trauma? Will she find the peace she so desperately craves? And how does her future as a figure skater look?
