"I can't see, it's too dark!" Alice said. She felt like giving up. "That's not helping, Alice." Nolan grumbled. Even his eyes couldn't see through the darkness. Riley looked back at her two friends. "Come on, we can make it. I'm sure it's not farther... Right?" She looked at the girl leading the way. Faith leading the way, continued to walk on beside Dylan. She never turned around as she said, "Look hard enough and you will find the Light, in the Dark."

"I can't do this." "Can't do what?" She cast her head down avoiding my eyes. "I can't be around you right now. We can't just pretend that this never happened and be friends again." "I don't want that either, I want to be more than friends." "I can't do that. You know I can't do that. Logan's my boyfriend. I'm over you." "Delilah wait just please-" "No Josiah, I'm done. No more. I think it'd be best if we took a break from all this for a while just until you're ready to be friends because I still don't want to lose you." "Delilah please don't," I begged as she began to back away. "It's for the best okay," she said as a sympathetic smile spread on her face. And with that she left me there alone. So now we weren't even friends? Why did I have to mess this up? But I had to right? I had to tell her. I just wish she would have returned the feeling. All I know is that this isn't over yet. This time I'll fight to win her heart.
