Give me your hand

Luke was an ordinary teenager living in the suburbs of Michigan. He lived with his twin sister,
Alex, their parents, and their big black dog, Sirius. They lived in an average house with a big
backyard, and a garden where their mother grew vegetables. They were the typical all-American
family. Luke's life wasn't particularly interesting. He was a tenth grader at the local high school,
Carson High, he was captain of the basketball team, a B average student, and he did art on the
weekends. His life was average, and he liked it that way. It was all fine until Jacob Martins
came and turned everything upside down.
