Wendie Collins is a seventeen year old honor student, who goes missing in late fall. She's seem to have run away with her boyfriend, Kriplo Leeman, who's also the school's badass.

When Wendie wants to go back, Kriplo has other plans for her. It turns out, he's a kidnapper and a rapist who's been posing as an eighteen year old.

Wendie meets someone named Ben, and he says he's gonna take her home. Wendie struggles to trust him, but agrees to go with him anyway. They're gonna go home.

But that's not always easy.
