"UHHHHH!!" I moaned. I LAID there in bed not wanting to go to school. My mother had just woaken me up.  "But mommmm i dont wanna go to schooool!!

"Well youre gunna have to hunn, im not letting you stay home the first day of school!!" Theres breakfeast on the table downstairs." 

Moms. I was 18 and i was still in 11th grade cause i failed 8th and 10th. " Im a free man mom i need to do what i need to do!!" 

"What are you talking about?!?! Youre a lady Angelica!!" 

"Watever!!" So i put some crapy  jeans on and a shirt that had PANIC!! AT THE DISCO!! I liked the band. So i went downstairs only to find my little brother eating my food! "MOMMMMM" I cried.

I almost choke on the piece of chocolate covered strawberry as I saw Alpha Liam from the Crimson Fangs Pack come walking towards me with a smile. Did my brother set me up and paid him to come and dance with me, just to embarrass me even more? Alpha Liam is dancing with me. He is ruthless and is one of the most feared and yet most respected Alpha's there is and his training is intense as is also trying to get into his pack. I stared in amazement and horror, and then realized that the person-which, as I looked at him, was a boy-was extending his hand to lift me up. I took it thankfully. When I stood up, the world tipped to the left, and I stumbled. The boy caught me with strong hands. I looked at him and finally was able to look in on his features. The boy was only about 13 or 14. He had a shock of freckles, and a pointy nose, with rosy cheeks, and a mane of curly black hair. He had this quirky smile on his face, and his eyes glinted with mischief. He was dressed in a smithy outfit, complete with a tool belt, which had nothing in it. He also had some sturdy black boots. "You alright?" His voice was kind of squeaky, like he was just getting through puberty, right in the middle of high and low. "I'm fine," I replied, though he raised one of his eyebrows, pretty sure I was lying. I was of course. My favorite band had just turned into a couple of ugly, unearthly mermaids! My hands and legs trembled, and I almost fell over. I managed to stand, and asked, "What were those?" "Sirens. Probably why all the people in this room are asleep!" He grinned, like this was some kind of joke. I was not laughing. "Who are you?" I asked, not really wanting an answer, but it felt good to talk. "Oh! My apologies." He said it with a great bow. "Leo Valdez, engineer extraordinaire, son of Hephaestus."
