A girl that was created by every DC hero coming together and giving a part of themselves to a bright star that it come down from the heavens. But the same thing happened to the villains. A dark star came down from the heavens and and each villain gave a part of themselves to the Black Star. A villain was caught in the crowd of heroes, he gave the star something that made her human. The villian took the her and raise her as his own, atemting to live a normal life.

What if Joker had a daughter? One raised by Gotham... She was abandoned. She's angry. She want's revenge. She hates her father... But does this mean she works with the side of the Angels? Well, let's just say, there's a reason her name is Sanity. --Note-- This story is going to be re-written eventually, while this story will be up until the other version is finished (I won't be publishing it until then) this story will be deleted once that is done. There will be notice for that, so you know what is happening, but chances are you may need to re-read the book a second time following this. Especially, since I plan on actually having a sequel to this one complete eventually. --As a side note-- Only 5 characters are my own: Sanity, Ryu, Avalon, Jeremiah, Genevieve. All other characters belong to DC, I cannot stress that enough. In addition to this I have also used actual quotes from the Original Comics for the characters that have said them, as well as used some of the same origins/storylines to give the other characters (DC's) more of an identity e.g. 'Death in the Family' storyline// Where Joker kills Jason... Or 'A Killing Joke' storyline//Barbara getting put in a wheelchair and the Joker's Origin... Finally, the Joker's 'real' name//'Batman Mask of the Phantasm'. There are other parts as well but those are the main ones and a few of the examples. In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again. (Y/N) moved to Gotham to give herself and her son Eilis a fresh start. Sure, people thought she was crazy for leaving Metropolis for a crime run city, but she had her reasons. While she had hoped to meet with the Big Bad Bat, she wasn't expecting to also befriend the multimillionaire playboy and his children, the Waynes. Not to mention tons of other heroes, villains, and people in between. Without realizing it, (Y/N)'s slowly begun her ascent to the top of the food chain. Somehow becoming the most influential person in Gotham. And all she wanted to do was thank Batman for saving her life a few years back. "I thought I would crumble under the weight of the world, but Bruce carried the sky without ever saying a word. He was my Atlas." Also if u question their age, just don't. Whatever age you want to image him is fine because I image him at like 30 to 35 but he would probably be more like 40s. And the same for (y/n) because she's like 25 to 30 in my head. Fascinating Villains
[ONGOING] "You're delusional. I should've seen it before..." ~~~~~~~ Tanza is an agender paramedic. They rely solely on themselves, and the last thing they need is for an incredibly attractive supervillain to disturb their (relatively) quiet existence. However, if time can prove anything, it is that sometimes what we need most is not what we could ever have imagined. This story takes place in Gotham City, and therefore within the universe of DC (Detective Comics), making it technically a fan-fiction. Regardless, all the characters and storylines are my own work, except for a few Easter eggs which are aimed for DC fans. I strongly believe the world of superhero fiction could use some diversity and that is exactly what I hope to gift you all with this novel! Furthermore, I have absolutely no professional experience as a paramedic or EMT, so I did as much research as I could to try and have a realistic portrayal of this career, but of course it is not perfect. How would you feel if you knew you had a guardian angle dedicated to saving you from harm and protecting you for the rest of your life? That would be pretty cool wouldn't it? Well what if that Guardian angle had been by your side through your younger years as an 'imaginary friend?' Still pretty cool right? Well for Tori its been one Hell of a ride. Most people have an angle sent from heaven to protect them from the evil in the world. I did say most didn't I? Tori doesn't have an angel that was sent from heaven, rather an angel that fell from Heaven. Most call him "Death", or the "Angel of Death," but to Tori he is known as "Grim," or a nuisance. He bounded himself to her by blood when they were younger, saving her from death when her parents were killed in an "accidental" car crash. Along with dealing with Grim's shenanigans she also must deal with the various other supernatural beings that wish to kill or take control of her unique soul.Complete
