Atourse Rising is the story of a 14 year old abused, militarized boy, sent four years into the future by a god-like being, to survive in a world reshaped by the ancient giant titans known as Atourse. Kan is a boy with the emotional ability of a rock, matching up to his looks with a stone face, black straight hair and steely blue eyes. As he goes through this new earth he struggles with feeling emotions he has never felt before, such as happiness, sadness, grievance and love, aside from the only love he has known for his little sister Haven. Kan also happens to be the child of two major Atourse and holds the key to the end of a two part war but that's no biggie. Come see the wolrd of the Atourse, explore a deeply developed culture and fleshed out characters. (Note: This version of the novel is unedited and unfinished. I of course do not own Bungou stray dogs nor any of the characters, just the storyline! Nor do i own this wonderful art! There are also no manga spoilers contained within this book. Also, the writing style is slightly different in the first four chapters, so i apologize for that. . . . An orphan living within the walls of his abusive orphanage, and a boy living in the slums of Yokohama. The boy from the slums comes stalking into the orphanage, looking for food to steal.
