There is but a thin, almost imperceptible line separating our world from that of the shadows. In that other world darkness reigns, controlled by the terrors known as the Grave Masters.

The Grave Masters slip though that line to terrorize our world with their minions of darkness. All pain, all sorrow, all chaos, is caused by them. They bring greed, pride, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth to our world. The Seven Deadly Sins. Mankind is enslaved by them. Bit by bit, all that they live for is being destroyed.

But for each of the seven shadow kings, there is someone with the powers to defeat them. Mere humans. Or are they?

Will the humans be able to conquer the shadows, triumph over darkness? Or will the Grave Masters see to the end of mankind?

"Oh please come on guys! I'm a psychotic seventeen year old who is overly aggressive and is able to break a concrete block and launch four cinder blocks at a time so you should've known that I have some muscle." "I'm only after one thing, and that's sexual desire. Girls, guys, whoever, I just wanted it all." "I just can't get over how flawless I am. It was like I was destined to have this lifestyle." "There's just a raging desire that always has myself thriving excessively for more. There's no halt to it, as much as I wanted, but that's the thing. I don't want to stop." "Go on! Report me for being jealous. It's not even a crime and I'm not even envious. I just don't think that people should deserve half the privileges they are gifted with. " "Why is food the most amazing yet horrible thing to exist on this earth? I can't function without it, I need it. Obviously everyone needs food but, not as much as I do." "I spend most if not all of my life, cocooned in blankets. It's not my fault that I think that life is a waste. I was so unfortunate to be given a life I don't want to even live." These seven teenagers are the unlucky ones who are cursed with the Seven Deadly Sins. Yep. You read it correctly. Wrath... Lust... Pride... Greed... Envy... Gluttony... Sloth... Experience the first hand view of the Son of Wrath's attempted fight for freedom from a superhuman entity who cursed him with dangerous anger...and the struggles, surprises and suffering he and six other poor adolescents had to face. All they want, is to be free... Will they get what they've been longing for?

This story begins in the country of Britannia. A country where several certain races live with one another. And at the center of these races stood a girl. A beautiful girl with wild molten hair and eyes that reflected the universe. She was the creation of love and the child of wilderness. She was someone full of wisdom, wisdom she had gathered from centuries of experience. Many don't know how she was born, some saying that she was the daughter of the blazing sun while others say that she was born from ashes during an alluring eclipse. The name they called her? Malaika Kya. Angel from the diamond sky. For eons she wandered, visiting many kingdoms and gaining many friends. She battled battles that many would have died from, protecting those she holds dear. Slowly, her family began to grow. Person by person, home by home, kingdom by kingdom. Her heart spreading the biggest of wings. But then it happened. The one she loved most was attacked, almost dying because of someone's idiocy. And so she fought. She fought for her dying family, soon gaining the powers of the internal flame buried deep inside her. Screeching her painful cry, she fought in her new form with all her might. But it wasn't enough as it's hand sprouted from her body. Tears fell from the eyes of her lover, his eyes wide as he watched her body wither in pain. Hey dark eye were gentle a she watched his physical pain disappear, his wounds sealed shut as he snatched her closer one more time. Softly she apologized, saying words she wanted so badly to say before sealing their goodbye with a kiss. After one last smile, she disappeared into the fire below, her body dissipating into the molten flames as her words echoed into the soundless wind. "Mind telling me about that promise again?"

A land of shadows, of mystery, of obfuscated Truth. Welcome to the Greylands, that strange world, within the bounds of Time, peopled by mortal men. We cannot see truly, only as through a glass, darkly. There are things that move and have their being completely beyond our ability to perceive them. There are things beyond our mortal ability to comprehend. There are hints and glimmers hidden within the body of revealed Truth, but there is much we do not know, cannot yet understand, and could never dare dream. These stories are mere fancy, with a seed of Truth at their core. They play with the ideas of mortality and Eternity, Time and things beyond it, and of course the epic battle of Good against Evil. Each stands alone, and though there are common themes, threads, names, and concepts, each story is an entity unto itself and should not be seen as occurring in the same world or mistaken for installments of a series. These are random musings, not Gospel Truth, and should not be taken as such. Joy, hope, and encouragement are hopefully a byproduct, but certainly not sound Theology. If you would know more of the true world beyond these Greylands, one must be a careful student of the Scriptures, not of silly stories such as these. While still fairytales, these stories are set in modern surroundings rather than the land of Faerie! Each story is unique unto itself, and doesn't reference any other story, world or character elsewhere.

Book V of the Seven Sins Series "It's ironic, your name," the demon lord says, staring at me with his familiar, cold look. "It's an angel's name." I don't respond right away, because he's already snapped once when I spoke out of turn. "Have you nothing to say?" he asks, indirectly giving me permission to speak. I shrug. "I don't get why you have any interest in my name. You rarely call me by it." "Slaves don't deserve names." I hold back from speaking for a brief second, before I open my mouth once again. "So why the sudden interest in my name if I'm just a slave and don't deserve it?" I demand, almost nervous that he's going to react badly because I definitely spoke out of turn. "Because your name is ironic and humorous. How is it that an innocent boy with the name of an angel ends up as the slave to the worst demon in existence?" book cover done by @ishanwadhwa123 !!!!
