Dan Howell was your average teenager in high school, who was kind of an exchange student from London to the one place he never wanted to be. Oregon, but with one "small" obsession with playing piano with the dream of attending Ablejenté, the most famous and hardest music school to get into. As he sends in his application with a clip of him playing one of his special pieces, Piano Concerto No. 21 - Andante "Elvira Madigan" by Mozart, he meets a guy named Phil. A total punk-rock kid, who Dan thinks he has no shot with. Him and Phil bond over music tastes, and eventually things get a little heated. Until one single morning in a small town of Oregon changes his life and possibly his future forever.
