Amaru is a 16 year old high school student at Toshero High School.

She's really shy so she mainly keeps to herself and she doesn't really have any friends, unless you count the teachers and the librarian. Did I mention she loves to read? 

She often gets bullied by others and she never has the courage to stand up for herself. This is where her older brother, Hope, comes in. (Don't judge his name >~<) He attends the same high as Amaru but he'll be graduating at the end of the school year so he won't be able to protect her for much longer. 

The only thing that keeps her going is one of the most popular girls in school named Lily. 

Lily was admired by a lot of people because she was super nice to everyone. She wasn't really the center of attention but you just couldn't help but smile when you saw her or just heard the mention of her name.

Amaru has had a crush on her for a while but they were completely opposite people. She could only admire her from the sidelines because she was a nobody and it was all she could do since Lily would never notice her. 

It was all it would ever be... Right?


What will happen with this one sided love story?
