September "Sep" Arthur is a normal 16 year old boy, with a normal dad and a mom who left years ago without a trace of where she went. The one thing that makes him different from him is his horrible anxiety.
Jayci Donovan is a girl who tries to survive in her broken home, with two parents who always fight and an older sister who 1) hates her, and 2) left for college who knows how many years ago, breaking her promise and leaving Jayci behind.
