Kerra, A fourteen year old girl is sent to her grandmother's house yet again because her mom is working for a month in another city, and she is too young (At least in her mom's opinion) to be home alone. She's been bouncing between grandma's and home for four years every time her mother thought it was necessary because her dad is dead, and her mom is trying to lose herself in her work. One day, while suffering from severe depression, she takes a walk in the wood behind the house to try and clear her mind of her dad. She stumbles into what, at first glance, appears to be a large, stone pillar. Little does she know, that rock will open a door to a whole new world.
